MP3 song archive
Open MP3 song archive from the Songs menu in the bar at the top of this form (or by right-clicking). Scanning finds name.mp3 and name.txt in the same folder. Double-click to load audio and text into the synchronization fields. Export the SRT when ready for Create video.
Each rescan replaces the entire selected archive list; cancelling preserves the previous list. A completed scan with no matches clears it. Files are never deleted.
The Songs menu also has Open MP3 folder, which opens the folder of the loaded MP3. The ? menu contains Help (this guide) and About CreaVideoLyrics.
What this form is for
Here you match each line of the lyrics to the exact moment in the audio when it is sung, "tapping the beat" by ear while the song plays. The result is a synchronized subtitle file (SRT), which the Create video form then uses to overlay the text on the video.
Audio and lyrics
Drag and drop: you can drag files straight onto the form: the audio goes into the audio field and the .txt into the text field.
Load the MP3 file (the one generated by the MIDI → MP3 conversion form) and the text file with one line per verse of the song.
An automatic line "Outro - Fine" is always added at the end of the list, used to mark the point where the sung lyrics end and the song continues instrumentally.
How to synchronize (Play + spacebar)
Press Play: the audio starts and the current line stays selected in the list. Every time you press the spacebar at the exact moment the next line starts (is sung), the program:
- closes the current line, marking the end time at the point where you pressed spacebar;
- opens the next line 1 second before that point (a small fixed lead-in, not adjustable, so as not to "eat" the beginning of the sung word): so press spacebar exactly on the vocal attack, not early, otherwise the line will appear too soon;
- automatically scrolls the list to keep the active line always visible.
Correcting a point (click on the line)
If a line turns out wrong, click with the mouse on that line in the list: playback automatically jumps to the start point already assigned to that line (or to the nearest synchronized line, if the one you clicked doesn't have one yet) and resumes from there.
Export (SRT / LRC)
Once synchronization is complete, export the result: both files are saved in the same folder as the MP3, with the same name as the audio file (only the extension differs).
